The Bunker Below – THE BUNKER BELOW Experience

Please Read Carefully – Waiver, Release of Liability, Conduct and Health and Safety

Section 1 – GENERAL WAIVER

In consideration of THE BUNKER BELOW services, provided by The Bunker Below LTD including the equipment to enable me to participate in THE BUNKER BELOW Experience, I agree to the following:

I fully understand and acknowledge that (a) risks and dangers exist within the grounds and within the Kelvedon Hatch Bunker, and also with my participation in the activity; (b) my participation in the experience may result in injury and/or illness including but not limited to bodily injury, disease, fractures, partial or total paralysis, eye injury, blindness, heat stroke, heart attack, death, or other ailments that could cause serious disability; (c) these risks and dangers may be caused by the negligence of others, accidents, breaches of contract, the forces of nature or other causes. These risks and dangers may arise from foreseeable or unforeseeable causes; and (d) my participation in these activities and/or equipment. I hereby acknowledge and take responsibility for all risks, dangers and all responsibility for any losses and/or damages, whether caused in whole or in part by the negligence or conduct of the owners, agents, officers, employees of THE BUNKER BELOW, by myself or any other person; (e) I acknowledge that during the course of using the overall facility, my photograph may be taken by the Organisers or an agent or designee of the Organisers. I knowingly understand and give consent to any photograph or filmed image taken of me participating in any activity within the facility and said photographs or film shall become the property of the Organisers or any of its designees. The Participant hereby grants the organizer and/or its agent or designee permission to use any such photographs or films of himself/herself for use in materials promoting the Organisers.  Such use may include publication in the local newspaper, website, brochures, general advertising and other vehicles that may be distributed to or otherwise seen by large numbers of individuals and potential patrons of the Organisers.

I, on behalf of myself, my personal representatives and my heirs, hereby voluntarily agree to release, waive, discharge, hold harmless, defend or indemnify THE BUNKER BELOW and it’s owners, agents and employees from any and all claims, actions or losses for bodily injury, property damage, wrongful death, loss of services or otherwise which may arise out of my use of the Kelvedon Hatch Bunker and surrounding grounds, THE BUNKER BELOW equipment or my participation in the experience.

I specifically understand that I am releasing, discharging and waiving any claims or actions that I may have presently or in the future for the negligent acts or other conduct by the owners, agents officers or employees of THE BUNKER BELOW.

This event is a high adrenaline, realistic scenario. Customers may come into your personal space. Customers are told not to touch the actors but this may happen. If this happens, please report to management.

At no point are YOU to touch the customer if reported to be doing so you will be asked to leave. 

THERE CAN BE LOUD AND SUDDEN NOISES AND STROBE EFFECTS DURING THE EVENT. Please speak to management if you feel a scene is too loud for you.

You will be given a character/s to play throughout the experience and although organic you will be asked to stick to the brief given for this character. Any deviation or disruptive behaviour and you will be asked to leave. Any aggressive or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated. You will be prosecuted for any theft, destruction or abusive behaviour.

THE LOCATION IS A MUSEUM FILLED WITH EXPENSIVE ORIGINAL ITEMS. IF ANYTHING IS BROKEN YOU WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL VALUE OF THE ITEM. TREAT THE LOCATION WITH RESPECT.
